Now Incomplete

I thought this would take a thousand words, turned out it only needed 47

We took for granted
The simple way we could talk for hours
Jumping from subject to subject
Terrific tangents
Sensational segues
Revealing the occasional secret
Letting slip a confession or two
Weathered the most hectic emotional storms
Learning, listening
A casual cadence
The art of sharing refined.

      Thank You! Titles are so important aren’t they! And also one of the more enjoyable aspects of creating a piece. I never quite know which will come first, the Title or the Poem. This one was half the title (ie ‘incomplete’) but after the poem was ‘done’ so to speak, adding the ‘now’ seemed to add a nice twist, and maybe a bit of poignancy. Which comes first for you, Titles or Poem?

        You are welcome and yes, titles are important and fun to create. 😁 It depends… usually the title arrives at the end but not always. It is a fun creative process, however and whenever it shows up. Thank you for the engagement!
