Out of phase,
Deep asleep in shallow waters

Incredible weight
Upon the day
Ghost, regret, dream, hope, and fear

I see us clearer than ever before
I even see you shake your head in both
Agreement and disagreement

Join us
We are making soup
An interesting meal
Meat chopped up
Vegetables attacked
All the colours of nature

There in the kitchen
We will eat and make jokes
That no one will understand
Already thinking about a long walk later
I am barely there
The disciples give good chatter
All surface and no in between

Waiting
