So the world is full of wannabe fascists
Relax; the world is also full of good people
Who write and sing, protest and organize
Get out and vote, when it’s time
Make a small difference
And believe it will then turn into
A huge difference.
So the world is full of people who do not read
Or listen to music, watch good films, embrace any sort of meaningful art
Relax; you read enough for a thousand of them
Let them live their hollow lives, their oh so busy lives
It works (after a fashion) for them.
Let the words, turn into hours of thoughts
Turn into ideas, those beautiful shiny Ah-ha moments
And then watch
The ideas turn daydreams into real change for the better
The bad guys do not win as often as we think
They have very little imagination
(Remember they do not read)
And, perhaps, more importantly
They are often kinda stupid.
