When i fell off the edge of the world,
my groceries imploded and
the chocolate smooshed into the butter
the plastic yogurt containers
cracked and snapped and sighed
like brains, the pudding dripped out
mischievous, it destroyed the inky words,
set only a few hours before
as a list of small desires
there lies the remains
of an aspiration towards
a calm quiet evening indoors
in a few seconds
unless i get up, of course,
it will be dark
then darker
a silly boy sets off the world loudest firecracker
i cant seem to be bothered to even wince
all is past and the prologue lied
